Mangaluru: Bike rider dies 10 days after battling for life

Ullal, Apr 15: A bike rider died in a Deralakatte private hospital on Friday after suffering an accident involving a KSRTC bus.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Boluru (50), son of late Narayana who was residing near Boluru Jarandaya temple.
Rajesh was working in a private company and was returning home when the accident occurred near Chembugudde.
A Mangaluru-bound KSRTC bus from Mudupu had rammed his vehicle on April 3 and had fled the scene.
With the help of witnesses, the bus was later traced while Rajesh was admitted to a private hospital where he was put on life support system in an incentive care unit.
He died as the treatment did not fructify.
Rajesh is survived by his mother, wife and two young children.
Rajesh who was working overseas had returned to India last year and had joined a private company two months ago.
Naguri police have registered a case.
