Vijayapura: Need to publish advertisement to find strong home minister for Karnataka - Yatnal

Daijiworld Media Network – Vijayapura (MS)

Vijayapur, Apr 19: BJP MLA Basangowda Patil Yatnal mocked his own party and ministers and said that it is better to publish an advertisement for look out of home minister for Karnataka.

Yatnal said, “One or the other riots are taking place in the state for quite some time. Only our state is facing this kind of violence. Riots take place where the home department is weak. If one looks at the soft corner demonstrated by home minister, it is better to find a new one by giving an advertisement for the same.

“Search operations are necessary to prevent the violence that is erupting in the state every now and then. The Intelligence department knows the houses which possess gun, swords and stones. This should be found out through search operations,” said Yatnal.

With regards to cabinet expansion Yatnal said, “Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai already said that he will expand the cabinet soon to fill the vacant spots. It is almost sure that the cabinet will expand at the end of this month. I am not aware of dropping seniors from the cabinet.”

It is not enough to have an able home minister... Mindset of the party in power needs through introspection... One sided policies can not work forever in a plural democracy... People are smart enough to gauge the goings on...
