Mangaluru: Decomposed body of unidentified man found in Netravati river

Mangaluru, Apr 18: An unidentified body was found on the bank of Nethravathi river below the bridge on Tuesday April 19 morning.

The body was found in a decomposed state. There was traffic congestion near the spot as several people gathered there by parking their vehicles near the bridge.

It is said that the deceased might be in the age between 30-40 years. The matter was informed to the Kankanady police station after a motorist noticed the body floating near the bank. Fire and Emergency Services staff who arrived to the spot, shifted the mortal remains.

Mangaluru rural police arrived to the spot and cleared the traffic.
