Mangaluru: 20-year-old arrested over objectionable, threatening posts on social media

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru, Apr 20: A youth was arrested for posting objectionable and threatening content disrupting social harmony on social media.

The arrested is identified as Mohammed Azmal (20), a resident of Beltangady. The accused reportedly created an Instagram account titled mari_gudi_5. In the month of March, when the Hijab row took place in a college at Car Street. Azmal had posted a threatening message against one of the accused in the incident. During the probe, the police found a post which was derogatory in nature and also carried a morphed picture of Shivaji. They also found a twitter account which had objectionable and provocative posts.

The police informed that Azmal is also part of certain social media groups which post objectionable content. “He was operating using a foreign SIM card as he was aware of what happened with Mangalore Muslim Facebook page and presumed that he will not be caught. Even the Instagram account titled mari_gudi_5 was created to mislead that it is from a Hindu group,” said police.

What he did was not write and was not throug the proper channel. Correct. who has started communal hatred in the country. Why are they targeting muslims? Do you see in countries like UAE which is islamic country are they targeting hindus, Cristians? People of every faith are given respect and they are also allowing to build temples churches there. So who has to be encountered?

Let the law take its own course. Again its one sided process. Why Kalladka bhatta, Pramod Mutallik like instigators are given free access to deliver hate speeches till now. Why not they still behind bars despite several cases in their name.
