Mangaluru, Apr 21: Special Parents Support Group is organising an autism awareness walk on April 24, 2022  in Kadri Park at 4.30 pm as part of April being an autism awareness month.

In a press release, Meena Noronha, founder of the group and who is also a parent of a child with special need has urged all of them to come dressed in blue for the walk in support of the special children.

She said the walk is being held to help make Mangaluru an inclusive society by bringing together families especially parents with similar struggles and challenges.

The Special Parents Support Group will work towards forming a network of supports for parents and also to bring joy, love, respect and laughter into their special lives – their children, she said.

She said there is a need to bring these special children in a place in Mangaluru to the forefront by providing them equal and more opportunities be it in school, centres, events, workplaces or society adding that special children need to be integrated into the society.

“There is a societal ,emotional mental and financial pressure on all special parents. They hesitate to bring out their special ones in order to avoid ridicule, face difficulties and non acceptance by society. Hence a support system helps them in providing strength and support to go through this journey,” Noronha said in a release.

Very good initiative by one form of special need children's parents. Only the parents know the tension and trauma they are going through and creating awareness in the society about their needs is very much required.. I urge the parents to get linked with international organisations and do their own research about their questions like- Why me and what next. According to the available data it has been noted with the increase of children's vaccinations the number of kids with autism have become very exponential. As I had been doing my own research since 10 years I too believe that fact as the adjuvants and additives in vaccines are affecting kids brains though majority of kids don't. Childhood- Sudden Death Syndrome, autoimmune diseases like allergies and asthma, cancers are more in them than unvaccinated in their study in US compared to the European nations where in 2 year kids very minimal vaccines are administered while it is 3 times more. Do your own research and then only you will get to the truth.
