Doha: ICC organizes Iftar meet with officials

Doha, Apr 22: ICC Management Committee invited, Indian Ambassador, Embassy officers, Community Leaders, Media, Sponsors, several dignitaries and officers from Qatar Government for Iftar meet on April 18. 

Krishna Kumar Bandhakavi ICC general secretary invited HE Dr Deepak Mittal, ambassador of India to Qatar, Xavier Dhanraj, first secretary, coordinating officer ICC, Embassy of India and all other dignitaries attended the Iftar event.

On his address to the gathering HE Dr Deepak Mittal emphasised the importance of Ramadan and how it brings people of various cultures together. Appreciated for the gesture of Qatari Nationals, who joined for breaking their fast, iftar and prayers in this holy month of Ramadan along with Indian Community. And ICC hosted a dinner after the prayers to invitees.

Qatari guests attended and spoke at the ICC Iftar meet are Lt Col Dr Ibrahim Muhammed Al Sumaih director, Community Policing Department, Muhammed Faraj Al Kubaisi assistant director, Ministry of Municipality, Captain Talal Munassar Al Madhouri, Community Policing Department, Captain Abdullah Khamis Al Hamad assistant secretary and head of Sports Affairs Qatar Police Sports Federation, Captain Nasser Mubarak Al Atheeq Al Dosari, Human Rights Department, First Lt Abdul Wahhab Muhammed Al Yaami, Al Fazaa Police, lieutenant Sabah Mardhi Al Toumi, general directorate of Civil Defence, Lt Hamad Saalem Al Nahhab Al Marri Traffic Awareness Department, Rashid Al Nuaimi Volunteer, community policing department.

The evening Ifar was well attended by all apex body managing committee members, large number of Indian community leaders, school presidents, and principals. Managing committee thanked each attendee for their time spent for Iftar meet.

The event was managed by all MC along with ICC president PN BabuRajan, VP – Subramanya Hebbagelu, and other MC members.
