Doha, Apr 29: Karnataka Sangha Qatar handed over the appreciation letter to DPS Monarch International School issued by the Karnataka Development Authority, Govt of Karnataka for starting Kannada as a second and third language subject in their school syllabus.

During this meeting, the president & principal of DPS Monarch International School appreciated the support of Karnataka Sangha for reaching out to the Kannada community and helping the school to incorporate Kannada smoothly into their CBSE curriculum, and also for arranging required Kannada workbooks from Karnataka.

KSQ president Mahesh Gowda thanked the school management for accepting the request to start Kannada and reaffirmed the continued support of KSQ, Currently, DPS Monarch School is offering the Kannada language up to 8th Grade, and KSQ is ready to help the required students to cope up on the language by organizing bridging gap sessions for Kannada language from the team of experienced KSQ weekend Kannada class teachers.
