Udupi, May 3: Mobile voice recordings of head constable Rajesh Kunder of DAR of the district, who killed himself with his service weapon, have gone viral. In these voice messages sent to higher officers by the deceased, he has appraised them of the atrocities conducted on him by his colleagues.
As per the details of the first audio, Rajesh Kunder was deputed for RAF duty at Gangolli police station during the Hijab issue. Ashfaque and Umesh, who were subordinates of Rajesh, did not report to duty at the said place and time without prior permission from him. Rajesh had called DAR headquarters and complained about the two subordinates.

In the second audio, the deceased Rajesh says, “I have been assaulted while sleeping by Ashfaque and Umesh as I raised complaints against them for not attending duty. I escaped from them and now walking on the road in bare body without any vehicle.” In the audio Rajesh appealed to the higher officers to inform the matter to control room and help him. He also warned of taking alternative action if the higher officers do not help him.
The police have gathered these audios. Verification is being done to ascertain whether the voice heard in the audio clips is indeed that of deceased Rajesh or not.
