Kerala Women's Initiative Qatar, ICC organize 'Henna Night'

Doha, May 3: Kerala Women's Initiative Qatar and Indian Cultural Centre as part of pre eid celebrations hosted a 'Henna Night' event at the Ashoka Hall, ICC on April 30.

The event organizers followed a Mughal era theme and had ladies dressed as Emperor Shahjahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz. This was one of the event highlights as visitors were excited to take pictures with the legendary Mughal couple. Henna Artists at the venue applied beautiful henna designs to the visitors. The event also had Food, Garments, and jewelry stalls.

"As event hosts, we are happy to have had an overwhelming crowd who came in to apply henna and enjoyed the vibrant vibe of pre eid set up at the venue. The event was scheduled to end at 10 pm, however, due to the unprecedented crowd, we extended the timings further into the night with the support of Subramanya Hebbagelu, ICC - acting president" said Zareena Ahad, KWIQ president. Managing committee members of ICC were also present for the event.
