Tragic Road Mishap Claims Three Lives on NH 17 at Mulky

Mangalore, Feb 15: The tragic accident which occurred on the National Highway (NH) 17 near Mulky claimed three lives, here on Tuesday February 15.
The accident occurred around 12 in the afternoon. The deceased have been identified as twenty-four-years-old Afiz and his brother twenty-six-years-old Ashraf, both residents of Chokkabettu, near Suratkal and their friend twenty-three-years-old Imran. They were traveling in a Tata Sierra when the driver lost control and hit the Nagabana besides the NH 17 near Mulky. The dead bodies have been shifted to the morgue at Mulky government hospital.
There were a total of 13 passengers traveling in the ill-fated Tata Sierra. The injured people have been taken to the nearby hospital.
Mulky police registered a case and investigations are underway.
