Karnataka reports 181 fresh Covid cases, positivity rate at 1.14 percent

Bengaluru, May 6: Karnataka on Friday, May 6 registered 181 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 1,895. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 149.

The death toll in the state has risen to 40,061.

The state recorded 139 discharges from hospitals on Friday, taking the total discharges to 39,06,466.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,48,464 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.14%, as many as 10,66,71,560 people have received vaccination so far.
