Kadaba: Saffron flag atop church – ASP visits spot, local files trespassing complaint

Kadaba, May 7: In the case related to hoisting saffron flag on the belfry of Renjilady church, now, a local resident has filed a complaint with the tahsildar of building a structure illegally on the land that is owned by him.

Enkaje Shobharaj, who resides close to the prayer center has objected the trespassing of his land by strangers and preparing for religious rituals.

ACP Gana P Kumar visited the disputed land and inspected the spot. She met authority of prayer center and took details of the incidents. Kadaba investigative sub inspector Srikant Rathod, CID personnel, Kadaba police personnel and Noojibalthila village accountant Santhosh were present.

Later, Uppinangady CI Umesh Uppalike visited the spot. Meanwhile, it is said, according to the revenue department, there are no records or RTC for the land on which the church is built.
