CBI Raids Kalaignar TV Office

Chennai, Feb 18 (IANS) The CBI Friday raided the office of Kalaignar TV, floated by the family members of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, here in connection with the 2G spectrum scam.

Both, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the company officials, remained tightlipped about the issue.

The channel is under the CBI scanner for its Rs.200 crore loan transaction with Cineyug Films which is connected to Shahid Usman Balwa of Swan Telecom.
