Doha, May 10: Karnataka Sangha Qatar (an associated organization of Indian Cultural Centre under Aggies of Embassy of India, Doha Qatar) felicitated minister of State for External Affairs & parliamentary affairs, Government of India V Muraleedharan at Ashoka Hall, Indian cultural center on May 8 at a community reception organized by Indian Culture Center. the preset dignitaries are Karnataka Sangha president Mahesh Gowda along with Advisory committee members V S Mannagangi, Deepak Shetty, KSQ management committee members, and ex-vice president of KSQ and present vice president of Indian Cultural Center Subramanya Hebbagelu.

Addressing the gathering, Muraleedharan hailed the contributions of the Indian community in the development of the diplomatic relationship between India and Qatar and expressed full support from the Indian government in this direction.

Alongside the minister had an interactive meeting with the state represented community leaders, during this meeting Karnataka Sangha president Mahesh Gowda appealed to the minister for the Government of India to request the Qatar government to open the Qatar Visa Center in Bengaluru, which will help to complete all the Qatar resident visa formalities in the state, as currently people from Karnataka facing hardship in traveling to other metro cities of India.
