Riyadh, Feb 23: For over a week the capital city of Saudi Arabia, has been adorned all over with posters, silhouettes and Saudi national flags to warmly welcome the Custodian of two holy mosques, King Abdullah. He was away from the Kingdom for three months to undergo medical treatment.

After a successful surgery in New York hospital, the monarch moved to Morocco, which is the Kingdom’s friendly country to a have a proper rest. Both Saudis and residents are eagerly in anticipation of his safe arrival to Saudi Arabia. He is expected to arrive in the Kingdom by tomorrow evening.

Several institutions, government buildings, colleges and business organizations too are decked with placards of the King’s various postures underlined with the Arabic wording and wishes like-‘Let health and safety be on you’, ‘You are the King of Humanity’ (Salaamthikum Ya Malik al Insaniya), ‘O royal highness, you are in our hearts’, ‘You are like fatherly figure, let well-being be on you’ and so on.

Major places like Olaya, Thakassusi, Janadriyah, International Airport Road, SABIC, King Abdullah Road are completely filled with the wishes and adores to the eminent king. Underpass, overpass, date trees planted alongside the roads, light poles have become the witnesses to this.

All these indicate the people’s deepest admiration and allegiance towards the King, who is the man of visionary idea and farsightedness contemplating for the welfare and progress of the Kingdom. All people-Saudis and non-Saudis exult at his homecoming as it was seen that everyone prayed for his speedy recovery and safe return to the Kingdom after his surgery. He was in the hearts of everyone though he was afar for a while.

In fact, Saudi Arabia has gone through major advancements and developments in various fields like foreign policy, infrastructure, education, empowerment of women, upliftment of poor people, medical and economic sector among others, under the leadership of the King. He was the one who heralded a brush-up in the Indo-Saudi relationship that opened up varied opportunities in the field of IT, education, technology and other sectors.

Virtually, it gave a fresh outlook in the rapport of India and Saudi Arabia that made the two countries come closer. Around two million Indians are working in the Kingdom in various sectors and contributing to the growth and progress of Saudi Arabia. For the Indians, Saudi Arabia is the second home whereby they add value to the Indian foreign exchange to be on the faster move.

Many job opportunities in the specialized and non-specialized fields gave a fabulous break to the Indians in many companies, financial organizations and universities in the Kingdom. Several companies and universities are on the move to collaborate with some Indian companies especially electronics and information technology.

Major portion of the Kingdom’s revenue has been spent on educational fields including women’s education. Many vocational and training centers, educational institutes, universities are getting shaped up. One of the world’s biggest women’s universities (named Prince Noura Bint AbdulRahman University) is underway to be opened soon on the King Khaled International Airport Road. Educational networks have been on the go throughout the Kingdom to keep the country educationally forwarded. Scholarships and other facilities are being rendered to the country’s youths for their advanced education abroad.

Many conjoined babies were provided with free treatment in the specialized hospitals of the Saudi Arabia. Several parents including foreigners, who lost their hope on the life of their conjoined babes, were given a fresh vim and vigor. After a successful medical operation, babes were separated and have started leading a new life. Besides, many patients in various hospitals are provided with free medical treatments and expenses.

It is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which initiated the interfaith dialogue. The aim of this dialogue is to understand the edifications of major religions and create a broad platform in order to avoid mistrust, abhorrence and conflict amongst the people of the religions in the world.

In total, Saudi Arabia is being exposed to the world more openly than ever. All these became possible under the vibrant leadership of the King Abdullah. The world people-particularly the citizens and residents alike-really want his great leadership to keep the world in peace. That is why, the people express their joy and delight over the arrival of the King and wish him a good health and long life to resume his royal office soon.

Well, all that is written about the King Abdullah and Saudi Arabia is great for reading and 'buttering' by KSA by expatriate Indians and Mr. P.A. Hameed, who have good jobs and salary there...but no one is mentioning about the poor slave Asian workers (garbage cleaners, maids, drivers etc.) who are exploited by the local Saudi employers, non-existent religious freedom of expression, women not being allowed to drive, discrimination, non-existent human rights etc. in the kingdom! I have lived and worked in KSA for nearly 10 years in the 1980's and know how the system and rules work there! The king, the royals and the rich Saudis can do anything (drink, womanize, rape and kill maids etc.) and get away with it...no questions asked ...no Shariah Law applies to them! The Shariah laws only apply to the poor expatriates who are generally beheaded or stoned to death etc. Great KSA...Long live the King!

DEAR BROTHER FELIX, I HAVE STATED THE SAME THING WHICH YOU HAVE STATED. IMPLEMENTING THE SHARIAH AND FULFILLING THE PROFESSIES WRITTEN IN THE HOLY BOOK.....BOTH ARE SAME. SHARIAH MEANS IMPLEMENTING A LAW ACCORDING TO THE HOLY QURAN AND THE TEACHINGS OF THE PROPHET.(PBUH).ALSO THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS OF BROTHER IMRAN.

DEAR BROTHER D'SOUZA, HAHAHA, WHAT KIND OF SILLY QUESTION IS THIS? WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN MY POINT AND YOUR QUESTION. I SAID THE LORD WILL SAVE THIS COUNTRY FROM THE EVIL HANDS. I POINTED OUT THIS DUE TO THE PREVAILING SITUATIONS OF THE ARAB COUNTRIES. HE HAS GONE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY FOR TREATMENT AS THAT COUNTRY IS SO ADVANCED IN THAT FIELD. IT DOESNT MEAN THAT THE CREATOR WILL CURE HIS ILLNESS JUST SIMPLY SITTING AT HOME.

    Mr.A. D'Souza, Kodialbail

Mr. aboobaker uppala, said CREATOR OF THIS UNIVERSE WILL SAVE THIS COUNTRY FROM THE EVIL HANDS, He did not mention anything about the creator of the universe saving the King in particular.

However, personally I will not agree with the statement made by Mr.aboobaker uppala, because the creator of this universe will save this country, not because it is based on Islamic Shariah,

But because of the presence of the Holy Kaba, and certain professies that have been written in the holy books, have to be fulfilled. Thank you

    Aboobaker uppala:
It is nice to see the preparations that are being done to receive King Abdullah who I see as a Great King. After reading what you have written I have a question for you however, if you don’t mind. You said that as long as this country is based on Islamic Shariah the Creator of this universe will save this country. In that case why did he have to go all the way to another country for treatment, is what I do not understand

THERE ARE LOT OF KINGS AROUND THE WORLD. BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE CUSTODIAN OF THE HOLY MOSQUES. THAT IS THE RULER OF OF SAUDI ARABIA. AS LONG AS THE BASIC RULE OF THIS COUNTRY IS BASED ON ISLAMIC SHARIAH, THE CREATOR OF THIS UNIVERSE WILL SAVE THIS COUNTRY FROM THE EVIL HANDS. WELCOME BACK TO YOUR FIRST HOME AS YOU HAVE D THAT INDIA IS YOUR SECOND HOME. LONG LIFE YA ABU MET'AB (FATHER OF MET'AB)

Mr.ISMAIL K PERINJE, YANBU-KSA..Why did deal of pipeline from Iran to India scrapped?..It's due to 'Big Brother' who has advised to supply oil to India..and simultaneously India should vote against Iran. India also decided not to give 'loyalty' to arch rival pakistan if pipeline passes thru there terrority..also having big threat in future..price of oil will remain same what earlier offered by iran.. America do not want Iran to come-up with it's oil production it will ultimately enrich there wealth..and threat to neighbouring countries..after all it's all political game..

Well-written article..with brief descriptive information..Welcome to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Highness King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al Saud, the custodian of two Holy Mosques. Jai Ho..
