Sullia, May 25: A woman from Ennoru village in Kadaba taluk has gone missing since May 9, according to a complaint filed with Bellare police station.
The woman identified as Vijambal (48), who is the wife of Shivalinga, left home on May 9 at 2.30 pm without informing anyone and proceeded towards Ninthikallu. Shivalinga found her walking at Ninthikallu when he told her to stop wherever she was as he was on his way to take his salary.
On his return, Shivalinga found his wife missing and when he called her on her mobile phone, it was found switched off.

Vijambal was staying at her mother's place three months ago but has since not gone back there, according to a police complaint filed by the husband.
Vijambal, who has a slim built and of wheatish complexion, is conversant in Malayalam and Tamil.
Bellare police have registered a case.
