Mangaluru: Instagram user loses Rs 66,000 on booking iPhone online

Mangaluru, May 25: An Instagram user lost Rs 66,000 on booking an iPhone from his account.

A complaint from an unnamed complainant in this regard has been filed with the police.

On seeing the advertisement, an Instagram user sent a message to buy an iPhone for which he got the Google pay and WhatsApp numbers to remit the amount.

The user booked an iPhone 13 Pro Max and transferred payments in instalments from March 13 to 17 up to Rs 66,000. However, the user neither got his mobile that he wanted to buy nor the refund amount.

The police have registered a case.

    My son also lost minor amount for buying Jersey Shirt (one of the Saucer club shirt). First I tried to pay through my Debit cards. 3 Debit card rejected the amount, may be the bank has strong antispy software. Finally my son paid through Google pay. Neither the Shirt got delivered nor they returned back the money.

    Why dont you go to a agent who makes business in yur own area?Yo may have to pay bit more than this never sees the online business ?Now every where fakes .You book a trip to somewhere per online thinking is cheaper ,or buy a house online which is much cheaper looks ,but in reality never exists.Better personally go and check ,then buy .Hard to believe but true.

The offers range from extra ordinary returns on investment within 48 hours to availability of single women for friendship... Always remember that no one does anything for free, often not your own too... Never believe strangers online...
