Due to the higher pass percentage in the SSLC examinations this year, the demand for PUC seats has gone up in colleges as a result of which a proposal has been submitted to permit opening of new PU colleges.
For 2022-23, the government had invited applications from interested educational institutions and trusts to start permanently unaided PU colleges through the online mode. Applicants should have been registered with the authorised body without any pending court cases against them.
