Udupi, May 25: A college student died on the spot on Wednesday, May 25, after the bike which he was riding hit a road divider. This incident happened near Laxmindranagara in Manipal.
The deceased has been identified as Shodhan Shetty, who is a resident of Koteshwara.
The pillion rider was seriously injured and has been hospitalised.
Shodhan Shetty lost control of the bike while he was on the way towards Udupi near Laxmindranagara and he hit the median.
Sources said the accident spot was splattered with blood all over the road.
