Karnataka reports 171 Covid cases, zero deaths in last 24 hours

Bengaluru, May 27: Karnataka on Friday, May 27 registered 171 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state at 1,827. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally 161.

Zero deaths reported to coronavirus in the state on Friday, the death toll in the state has risen to 40,064.

The state recorded 121 discharges from hospitals on Friday, taking the total discharges to 39,09,369.

 

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,51,302 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.84% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.00%.
