New Committee of St Francis Xavier Assn Mudarangadi, UAE Announced

Abu Dhabi, Mar 5:
St Francis Xavier Association (SFX Kutam), a group of Mudarangadi parishioners residing in the UAE, elected the new office- bearers for the year 2011-2012 at Winney's restaurant, Karama, recently.

The meeting commenced with a prayer followed by a welcome note by the outgoing president Canute Mathias. The committee reviewed all the activities and the good work carried out during the years 2009 and 2010. Canute thanked the committee members for their consistent support during his tenure as president.
 
The new office-bearers for the year 2011 - 2012 were elected during the meeting. Jhonson D’Silva, a vibrant youth from Mudarangady has been unanimously elected as the president of the organization. He has been an active member of the nine year old association and has taken various responsibilities in the past.

The newly elected president Jhonson D’Silva thanked the outgoing president for leading the association in the right direction and all the members for electing him as president. He emphasized that the challenge ahead is to 'bring all Mudarangady parishioners' residing in the UAE together and to continue all the good work carried on during the past nine years. He requested the committee and the members for their full cooperation and assured them of his best efforts for the unity and continuity of the good work.
