BJP Not Indulging in 'Operation Lotus': Yeddyurappa

Hubli, Mar 5 (PTI):
Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said his party was not indulging in any 'Operation Lotus' (to lure other MLAs) and those who were joining BJP were doing so ''voluntarily''.

"There is no Operation Lotus. A few MLAs from other parties voluntarily want to join BJP. Although we told them, we don't need them, if they voluntarily come to our party, we welcome them," he told reporters at Hubli airport.

"We have never been involved in inducing other party MLAs to come to our party," he said.Recently, Congress and JD-S had flayed the BJP government in the Assembly for allegedly attempting to lure Opposition MLAs, terming it as "murder of democracy" in the wake of JD (S) MLA Karadi Sanganna resigning from the Legislative Assembly on March 3.

Inviting people of the state to participate in the three-day World Kannada Meet which is being held in Belgaum from March 11, Yeddyurappa said he would speed up developmental works after the budget session was over.

The chief minister also assured that he would look into the problems faced by the farmers.Earlier, he dedicated the 'Gangubai Hangal Gurukula Trust' named after the doyen of Hindustani music, to the nation.

What a news! If BJP didn't want them, why admit those who switch parties as they are likely to be a liability to the party? That is why it is said, just don't trust the politicians. Even if they are caught red handed, they will still deny it.

    What is Operation Lotus?
    1. Buying out opposition parties MLA’s with huge funds.
    2. Appeasement of opposition parties MLA’s with plum postings
    3. Funding of Elections.
    4. Creation of fake trusts to transact illegal funds.
    How is Operation Lotus Funded?
    1 Illegal Mining activities.
Since 2003, 3.04 crore tones of Iron ore worth Rs. 152 billion has been mined illegally in Bellary.
2 Illegal purchase / sale of property
    3 Misappropriations, commissions and favors.
Why is Operations Lotus successful in Karnataka?
    1. Reddy brothers are flushed with billions of illegal funds which are shared with our CM. Hence CM cannot take any action against Reddy's.
    2. Our CM in turn shares this money with BJP High Command. Hence High Command cannot take action against Yeddurappa.
    3. Proof of the above is frequent visits by Advani, Gadkari and Sushma to Karnataka. I have pictures of Sushma blessing both the Reddy's brothers with her hands on their heads.
    How to combat Operation Lotus?
    1. Get CBI or Supreme Court to investigate Bellary’s illegal mining.
    2. Since 2003 check out all high value property transactions of Ministers, MLA’s, Government Bureaucrats and their relatives.
    3. Check out funds transferred to safe heavens like Switzerland, Mauritius, Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Gibraltar and Bermuda.
    4. Track people who frequent the above destinations.
    5. Do not allow MLA's to switch parties unless they contest and get elected again.

Yeddi is like a CAT-which closes its eyes while drinking milk stealthily thinking nobody is watching it.
CM, please answer then why u are granting(rewarding) them with posts of Board Presidentship or ministries-while many eligible aspirants from your own party are denied these priviledges. Many deals of your party members are exposed already offering huge bribe to lure them.
Now I really understand why many commentators brand your party as Brashta Janara Party.

These wise old men are not mad to join BJP for no reason or without any benefit. Let us be honest. They are all out to make once in a lifetime big bucks for their retirement and also for their families. Do you think at that age they have a choice? Whether its congress, JDS or BJP what matters is money.

Yeddy has no belief in democracy.BJP High Command some are how went with him blindly for various odd reasons which may in long run counter productive. It is unprecedented in the regime of Yeddy more than 10% MLAs Karanatak Assembly either disqualified or kept out of the House to carry on even though he has no majority. This is nothing but killing of democracy for the vested interest of Yeddy. He is a liar and always feel insecurity due to the reason of his guilty conscience.

BJP cries about conversion by force or luring or money, but when it comes to buying MLA's from other parties, they have no problem, they are ready to buy them, lure them or force them. Politics is not Dharma it is business. Mr. Yeddi before bringing anti-conversion law try to have a look at your own morality with regard to the above subject. Shameless Party of Comedians
