Ullal, June 5: Deputy leader of the Congress Legislature Party U T Khader on Sunday, June 5 visited the Pavoor-Uliya isle.
As the footbridge connecting Pavoor-Uliya isle is in a state of danger, the officials of the minor irrigation department and the local representatives visited the spot.
After visiting the Infant Jesus Church, the representatives received a memorandum from the priest there and the locals.
MLA U T Khader also asked the officials that no one should face a problem on the isle. In this regard, he also discussed with the officials to take measures so that people do not face difficulties anymore.
He also sought a survey to be done for the construction of a footbridge so that the people of Uliya are not inconvenienced.
Very soon high-level officials will visit and examine the Uliya isle, he said.
