Karnataka reports 376 fresh Covid cases, positivity rate at 1.61% percent

Bengaluru, June 8: Karnataka on Wednesday, June 8 registered 376 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stands at 2,623. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally at 358.

Zero deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Wednesday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,066.

The state recorded 231 discharges from hospitals on Wednesday, taking the total discharges to 39,11,582.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,54,313 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.61% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.00%.
