Bunts Qatar holds blood donation camp

Doha, Jun 9: Bunts Qatar, an Associate Organization of Indian Cultural Center under the aegis of Embassy of India, Doha - Qatar held its second blood donation camp on Friday, May 27 at HMC Blood donor center. The event turned out to be a huge success with 215 registered blood donation volunteers out of which 95 donated blood as per Hamad blood donation criteria.

Chief guest of the event Dr Sona Soman, second secretary to the Indian embassy and ICBF coordinator congratulated Bunts Qatar and appreciated all the blood donors for the noble gesture.

Dr Padmshree Shetty, president of Bunts Qatar welcomed the gathering. ICC president Babu Rajan addressed the gathering with his kind words. Dr Rifat Salma, periodontist of Focus medical center spoke on the benefits of blood donation to donors and the recipient. ICBF president Vinod Nair gave an informative talk on ICBF insurance plan to the audience. Naveen Shetty conducted the event. Bunts Qatar treasurer Manohar Shetty delivered vote of thanks.

Bunts Qatar advisors Deepak Shetty, Navneeth Shetty, Bunts Qatar Managing committee members, senior members, president and office bearers of various Indian and Karnataka based associations, blood donation volunteers and other dignitaries were present during the event.
