Madikeri, Jun 18: A girl from Madikeri ended her life fearing PU results. The incident was reported in Basavanahalli village.
The deceased is identified as Sandhya who ended her life at her residence.
Sandhya was pursuing her education in a private college in Kushalnagar. Fearing the outcome of results, before they were announced, she took the extreme step.
She is the daughter of a retired army officer. The police informed that Sandhya ended her life when nobody was at home. She was pursuing her PU in science stream.
Later, when the results were out, it came to light that she had scored 67%.
A case has been registered in Kushalnagar rural police station.
