Qatar: Glittering extravaganza Mega Musical Night by Doha Music Lovers enthralls crowd

Qatar, Jun 19: The Doha Music Lovers Group conducted a glittery show under the name of Mega Musical Night, wherein 17 renowned singers from Doha and 40 dancers from different institutes participated and enthralled the crowd with their melodious voice and groovy moves.

The audience enjoyed it to the fullest and said, this is one of a kind of show which surpassed their expectations and added that they were looking forward to such shows from Doha Music Lovers in future too.

With the intention of providing a platform to the upcoming singers and dancers of Qatar, Doha Music Lovers group was formed, said Syed Rafi, chairman and founder of the group. He said that he realised that the local talent was not getting enough opportunities and was not given chance to perform, considering which he started the Doha Music Lovers Group 18 Months ago. He also mentioned that this group is open to all the aspiring artistes of Doha who want to showcase their talent to the world. Last year Doha music lovers conducted a singing competition under the name of Voice of World, wherein 650 singers from across the world participated in the competition.

The musical night show was witnessed by more than 600 people and the eminent personalities of Doha were present, namely Saeed Al Sowaidi, Krishna Kumar, ICC general secretary, K S Prasad, ICC advisory committee chairperson, Gadde Srinivas, managing director of Dana World Contracting Co & President of TPS, Bhaskar Chowbey of Focus Trading Co., Jai Prakash Singh, president of Central Indian Association, Venkappa Bhagavatula, president of Andhra Kala Vedika, Shinoj Managing, director of Go Green International, Anil, managing director of New Tech Engg & Trdg, Liston, managing director of Signmax, Praveen Buyyani, managing director of Telangana Food Suncons and Jawed Ahmed, chairman of AMU, Pardeep Sonu of Ritik Limousine and Yawar Hussain of Al Aqsa Neon, Arun from Radio Mirchi, Venkappa Bhagavatula, president of Andhra Kala Vedika, Venkat Potta, general secretary of Telangana Praja Samithi, Mohammed Atif and many others.

“Today is a big day for Doha Music Lovers in general and a very big occasion for Qatar artistes in particular. We’re fully prepared to encourage the local talent,” said Doha Music Lovers cultural secretary Vandana Raj.

“It was a big task for us to find the suitable place for arranging this kind of program to provide an opportunity to the upcoming artistes of Qatar," said Mohinder Jalandhary, general secretary of Doha Music Lovers. "We’ll support this kind of programs by Doha Music Lovers Group, whose noble intention is to provide a proper platform for all the upcoming artistes of Doha, so that their talent can be enhanced and brought to the limelight," said Gadde Srinivas, managing director of Dana World Contracting Co, and he also appreciated the enormous task taken by Syed Rafi.

For Qatar’s enthusiastic artistes who are striving to take strides in singing and dancing, this landmark event by Doha Music Lovers is a golden opportunity to mesmerise the crowd with their talent, said Bhaskar Chowbey of Focus Trading & Contracting Co. For this event  food was provided by Konaseema Restaurant’s owner Mudassir Mohiuddin. “It’s a dream come true for all the singers and dancers in Doha. We have been dreaming to perform at one of the best platforms like this, we never thought that it will happen,” Javeed Bajwa & Madhu
Vanteru, the singers who performed at the event said.

Mohammed Atif said the event will bring loads of positive changes for singers and dancers in Qatar. “We have so much talent in Qatar but because of limited opportunities, artistes lose interest and move out. Because of Doha Music Lovers' efforts in the last two years, many artistes are doing well and this event will motivate more and more artist like me,” said Aslam Cheniyery. Syed Rafi, chairman of Doha Music Lovers and Cric Qatar thanked all the people, groups and associations for their support in making this event a grand success and the audience for their love and affection, he assured the crowd to come up with a more bigger event in coming days.
