Buraidah, Jun 20: Indian social forum, Buraidah that unites non-resident Indians through social and cultural programmes held their preliminary meeting for the friendly gathering scheduled to be held on June 23.

Buraidah Karnataka block committee president Abdul Rasheed Uchila explained the activities of Indian social forum which stands by during the issues of non-resident Indians. “They should participate in the gathering of non-resident Kannadigas and make it successful,” he said.

“Various sports tournaments, public speaking and entertainment programmes will be held for women and children in the friendly gathering at Al Sadeem Istirah, Buraidah on June 23,” he said.

“Non-resident Indians who are engrossed in their work all the time should strengthen their bond in the country. The friendly get-together provides them an opportunity to mingle with non-resident Kannadigas. The activists should make the programme a success,” he said.

Pamphlets on the programme were distributed through the block committee members.

Indian social forum Buraidah block president Abdul Rasheed Uchila, Buraidah branch chief secretary Sayyed Ali Kinnigoli, Onaiza branch president Asif Puttur, Secretary Hafiz Krishnapur and Gulzar Addoor were on the dais.
