Mangaluru: Wife escapes from husband on pretext of going to washroom

Mangaluru, Jun 21: In a bizarre incident that is reported from the city, a wife escaped from the bus stand leaving the waiting husband on the pretext of going to the washroom.

Shilpa (30), is the woman who has escaped from her husband. She had come to the city from Koila village of Bantwal in order to visit Pilikula sanctuary. As they were waiting in the service bus stand to board the bus going towards Pilikula, Shilpa said that she needs to use the washroom. It is said that she boarded an Udupi bound bus and escaped leaving the waiting husband in distress.

Though the hapless husband called her several times on her mobile phone, she did not answer and later the mobile went on switched off mode. A complaint in this regard is filed by the husband at south police station of the city.

Shilpa is 5.2 feet tall, moderate built and has oil black complexion. She was wearing a chudidar top of red and black mix colours and black trousers. She speaks Kannada language.
