Bengaluru: BBMP spends whopping Rs 14 crore on PM Modi’s security for just 4.5 hours

Bengaluru, Jun 21: Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi’s two-day state visit is over. Special security was provided to him when he arrived to the capital city on Monday. Additional police were deployed on the route of PM’s travel.

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has spent Rs 14 crore for just four and half hours' stay of PM Modi in Bengaluru. The PM had arrived to Yalahanka air base at 11.30 am on Monday and left for Mysuru at 4 pm.

The money was spent on road, fundamental infrastructure and other facilities. For every minutes of PM Modi’s stay, BBMP spent Rs 5,18,518. The cost per hour is Rs 3,11,11,000. This money is spent from the fund of chief commissioner of BBMP, fund of administrators and other funds of the corporation.

PM Modi performed yoga with 15,000 participants at the palace grounds of Mysuru on account of international Yoga day. The PM had breakfast with the royal family. He also visited the museum at the palace grounds and also digital yoga exhibition.

PM Modi was served Idli, Vada, Dosa, Kesari Bath, Dal Kichdi, Palak rice and variety of dishes.

    As well known now .40 % would be swallowed .. Even the richest country would not spend One and half million dollars ..for such extravaganza.. ... for a country getting back after COVID various issues .. Poverty this is an expense normally incurred by African tin pot dictators..

    Those who are afraid of their life, should not join politics. Even coming to improve party's position for election, crores of rupees spent. What a waste of tax payer's money ? Even his 1000 commandoes are not enough for him ? If a person is doing something good to the country, no one will touch him.     Nothing compared to the money the exchequer loses everytime there is stone pelting from fanatics and burning of public property. Not to mention the constant protests from opposition for every step the government takes. Opposition is to be constructive in democracy. Not to fund riots. They have decided not to come to power for a loong time to come. Administration cannot take chances in the security of the head of state. Good job BBMP

    Modi is famous to waste tax payers money for his Yoga Jumla . He is least bothered about inflation . Unemployment. Medical infrastructure which India is lacking from last 8 years . No improvement at all whole India is burning due to Agneepath drama recruitment .13 months farmers on strike on roads suffering so many deaths and Modi on his world tour wasting Tax payers money. He already sold half of country wealth to his own friends through NPA from bank and waived all loans. . Poor farmers small amount he will not waive that's why so many farmers suicide. Is there provision or State audit bureau to question. Such funds should be covered from BJP party fund head quarters. BJP is robbing and wasting public funds royally ! why Modi needs publicity every time. I hope people will not succumb to blind promises and use all these years non performance of the party. Support AAP for a change. Give them a chance to prove their efficiency.
