Bengaluru, Jun 21: Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi’s two-day state visit is over. Special security was provided to him when he arrived to the capital city on Monday. Additional police were deployed on the route of PM’s travel.
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has spent Rs 14 crore for just four and half hours' stay of PM Modi in Bengaluru. The PM had arrived to Yalahanka air base at 11.30 am on Monday and left for Mysuru at 4 pm.
The money was spent on road, fundamental infrastructure and other facilities. For every minutes of PM Modi’s stay, BBMP spent Rs 5,18,518. The cost per hour is Rs 3,11,11,000. This money is spent from the fund of chief commissioner of BBMP, fund of administrators and other funds of the corporation.
PM Modi performed yoga with 15,000 participants at the palace grounds of Mysuru on account of international Yoga day. The PM had breakfast with the royal family. He also visited the museum at the palace grounds and also digital yoga exhibition.
PM Modi was served Idli, Vada, Dosa, Kesari Bath, Dal Kichdi, Palak rice and variety of dishes.
