Beltangady, Mar 15: Dr Santosh Guruji of Ayur Ashram, Bangalore, said that waves of pious vibes percolate through the bodies of the people concerned, when they pray to the Lord with total concentration, devotion, and determination. He advised people against praying and worshipping the Lord for their selfish ends.

He was addressing a religious meeting convened on Monday March 14 at Dharmasthala on the occasion of the inauguration of the renovated perimeter wall and outer precincts of Lord Manjunatheshwara there.

“The construction of the temple, architecture of the sanctum sanctorum, Vaastu designs and faiths and procedures followed in the temples are based on scientific facts. When people visit the temples, and meditate with concentration, positive energies are created. Everything from lamps, incense, puja, Mangalarati, and perambulation, have scientific background. Therefore, following these procedures and traditions does a world of good to the people,” he added.

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade, who inaugurated the programme, said that Dharmasthala believes in feeding the people and spreading knowledge. He said that the lives of those who satiate their urge for knowledge gets fulfilled.

On the occasion of the Brahmakalashotsava organized at the temple on this occasion, the people offered ‘Horekanike’ to the temple.

Hemavati V Heggade, D Harshendra Kumar, Supriya Hareshendra Kumar, and SDM College principal, Dr B Yashovarma were present.
