Pls schedule the buses with appropriate timings and intervels. Then it will be beneficial.. And of course it will generate Revenue. If not AC buses, normal BS 4 or BS 6 buses will do. But pls don't run Gramina sarige buses. . (Regarding Electric buses, first install an EV recharging stn at Mangaluru KSRTC bus stop, then start Ev buses to and fro to Airport. In the future, these EV recharging stn can also be beneficial for EV long route services like Bengaluru -Mangaluru/Udupi/Kundapura)

Good move by KSRTC. They should run their buses to suit aircraft departures and landings. Presently the taxi's at the airport overcharge passengers coming from overseas.

Your expectations are too high.. first let me them start to Mangalore city and people should use it. Our people are mainly dependent on private players, which means high standards for them. If you see in Bangalore, Kstrc buses to goa/chennai/Hyderabad/pune/mumbai are booked in advanced and then people will go to private players Thats the proud moment for us. Even all the airport buses runs with full capacity during peak hours.

Finally a Woman power will implement the long outstanding requirement of public transport to MIA. Taxi mafia's should be kept at bay. Around India all Airports have public transport facilty. Why not in MIA? What is stopping us? Jai Hind.

This is surely a development in the right direction. KSRTC should venture into all such progress oriented travel plans and initiatives. This Airport Terminal and Outstation Train Terminal internal connection to the city and important towns is called COMMUNITY TRANSITION in all advanced countries This benefits incoming and outgoing passengers and visitors alike at all hours, thus negating dependence on private taxis who are not regulated in India and cause a lot of nuisance and embarrassment at first sight to foreign visitors and Indians who should not be welcome into or out of India in this manner. However, the buses, should be like well maintained, super clean modern outstation sitting only luxury air conditioned buses with lower luggage hatches for the convenience of arriving and departing passengers. This makes India proud to be on par with advanced countries.

Long overdue. Better late than never. Let taxis compete with buses; they will still have some share of people carrying large and many suitcases, coming from international flights such as the Middle East.

If introduced in synchronisation with the departure & arrival of the flights, then it will be a big help for the passengers. Very much needed as Taxi's are charging minimum Rs 1000/- to city from Airport & vice versa, will reduce the traffic also.

That is good news. If there is bus service from the main road (near Sridevi College) till the airport - back and fro, people can take city buses there onwards. Taxi/auto services are absolutely robbing.
