Mangalore: Super Moon Natural Phenomenon, Don't Comemrcialize, Stress Experts

Mangalore, Mar 19: Kalkura Foundation organized Super Moon – A Dialogue (Chintane – Upanyasa – Samvada) at Government Teacher Training Institute, Balmatta here on Saturday March 19 from 10.30 am to 12.00 pm.

Pandit Narasimha Acharya, astrologer – Panchanga Expert spoke in astrological angle on the subject and said that super moon is a natural phenomenon and added it is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in space science. He also suggested not to commercialize it for other purposes. 

Dr K V Rao, director, Regional Science Institute, Pilikula spoke in scientific angle and said that high tides and low tides are the natural happening with the moon coming near to the earth and suggested people not to panic. He totally rejected the possibilities of Tsunami in Dakshina kannada district. At the same time he called upon the industrialists to be generous on nature and not to exploit nature.

Dr Anil Kakunje, psychiatrist, Mangalore spoke in medical angle on the topic. He said that moon coming in close proximity to earth happens every 18 years. He also pointed out that prejudiced thinking about super moon has evaded some people from witnessing an amazing natural occurrence and gorgeousness of moonlight.
