Bantwal, Jun 30: The rider of a scooter was injured after an electricity pole and a tree branch fell on his vehicle. The incident happened in the evening on Wednesday June 29 when the vehicle was moving on the road near S V S College here.

Ismael, the injured rider, was admitted to the hospital.

The electricity pole came down as a tree branch fell on it due to incessant rains.

A complaint in this connection is filed at Bantwal town police station.
