Yeddy Opens new Offensive against HDK

Bangalore, Mar 20 (DC): If the documents and information shared by Water Resources Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa’s political secretary are anything to go by, former chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy may well land up with egg on his face.

Earlier in the day, Mr Kumaraswamy released documents claiming that no sooner did the Yeddyurappa government award a contract for an irrigation project to Murudeshwar Power Corporation than the latter bought shares of two real estate companies owned by family members of Mr Yeddyurappa.

By Saturday evening, Bommai and B. J. Puttaswamy damned Mr Kumaraswamy by releasing documents that may make Mr Kumaraswamy squirm in his seat.

Bommai disclosed that the Upper Bhadra Project was cleared during April 2006 and it was Mr Kumaraswamy who cleared the proposal and the tender was finalised in 2007. The contract was award on May 5, 2008, almost a month before the BJP government came to power. He strongly refuted Mr Kumaraswamy’s charges that Mr Yeddyurappa had awarded the contract.

In another significant revelation, Mr Puttaswamy alleged that relatives of JD(S) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy were benefited to the tune of several crores by purchasing and selling land denotified by Bangalore Development Authority.

Kumaraswamy had ordered denotification of 194.33 acres flouting all rules when he was chief minister and caused Rs 2,000 crore loss to the BDA, they charged.

    KUMARANNA & TEAM TOOK LAND FROM FARMER @ ROCK BOTTOM PRICE & SOLD IT FOR IN CRORES.

    All these allegations and counter allegations are remains to be allegations to score political mileages only between JDS and BJP.Why these multiple allegations of serious nature were not given to Lokayukta/CBI/Sitting HC judge to probe?It means there are matrials in it and therfore hesitating to handover the case to proscuting authority.

    As allged by HDK,CM sent his emmisarries to PA of HDK to ceasfire between them and went on charging CM,talking over the phone with MC Nanaih,JDS leader to convince HDK over the issue of Prerana Trust.Therefore irrespective of party leanings one has to condemn all these development and pressure for an comprahensive in depth investigation of these corruption issues of Yeddy and HDK.Don't take people for granted always and "UPPU THINDAVANU NEERU KUDIYALEBEKU"Mere allegations and counter allegations are of nothing but 'time pass' in the expense of democracy.

    Dear Yeddi by proving Kumaraswamy's misdeeds you cannot justify your corruption or nepotism. It's like pot calling the kettle black.

    You can only exonerate yourself by stepping down from CM post & paving the way for unbiased legal process-if u really are pure then come out like phoenix from the present ashes. Take legal steps to prosecute Kumaraswamy as your govt., is in power-nobody is preventing you from these logical steps. Why only present papers in press conferences(like oppostion parties)?-Are U duty-bound by oath to uphold law & order(justice) to do so(only allege & remain inactive-to fool people)?

    Allegation and counter allegations …and what I observed is the allegations and corruptions charge on Yeddy has more public/media attention than Gowda family. BJP has to pay for it in future.

    but our politician busy with pulling legs each other.
    Dear God because of these 3rd class politician. pls. don't. give punishment like tsunami.
    I think there should one hour moral science class required in the upper house and lower house.
