Daijiworld Media Network – Sullia (MS)

Sullia, Jul 3: A case of abetment to suicide has been filed against the mother-in-law, brother-in-law and brother-in-law’s wife whose alleged harassment made Geetha tie her daughter to her waist and jump into the pond. While the mother died, the daughter miraculously survived.

Deceased Geetha (26), wife of fire service personnel Dayananda who could not bear the alleged torture of her in-laws family killed herself.

According to a complaint filed by Pushpavati, mother of deceased Geetha at Subramanya police station, Seethamma, mother-in-law of Geetha, Jayaprakash, brother-in-law of Geetha and Nishmita, wife of Jayaprakash were harassing Geetha for the past two years. They used to quarrel with Geetha over trivial matters.

Though all were living in the same house, the three accused had stopped speaking to Geetha. They were always together and alienated Geetha. Geetha had complained about the ill-treatment with her mother over the phone, according to the complaint.

Subramanya police are investigating further.

Shanthi kundapur,What husband was doing ?yo are asking.Do you think anything about it ?If at all natrally he will support his own people first ,second infront of him ,noone opens mouth openly ,everyone is very nice ,polite. When he goes to work beginns the harassment. It was so previously ,thatswhy girls dont want to marry where sisters or in laws are there.Thats the fact.Instead of jumping in lake with child could have walked out of house ,tell husband to make seperate house or flat ,or complain elsewhere. One has to be bit bold ,and learn to live with situation Sad it came ended for the child sad.To grow up without mother. To Joseph qatar,Idont agree to you fully ,mostly ,unmarried sister in laws are more worst ,even brothers wife etc too.

No one is above law of the land..., so is in-law..., I only wonder why the self proclaimed nationalist organizations who proclaim that they take care of Hindu community, Hinduism, Matha's etc., are not able to deliver any good to their own community.., Waiting for Jokaras voice on this matter.., The result of breeding insecurity, hatredness, vengeance, intolerance, revenge etc., After all what goes around.. comes around...,

In 99.99% of the cases in India, the mother-in-law (Music India Limited) is the crook in the garb of venomous snake. She is the root cause for making individuals feel insecure and breeding hatred and vengeance. Nobody can challenge her especially when she hails from such a controversial background and goes further to provoke newly wed women to be pushed to the brink and plays a pivotal role for all the commotion. She gets her objectives expedited under any circumstance. No wonder it's said a woman is the biggest liability on this planet. They cannot see eye-to-eye of the opposite woman.
