Chilly Willy's Satish Venkatraman Bags Aryabhata International Award

Bangalore, Mar 22: The owner of Dubai based Chilly Willy Satish Venkatraman has been selected for the Aryabhata International Award for the year 2010 in recognition of his excellent contribution and services in the field of Industry. The award presentation will be held on April 2, 2011 at Ravindra Kalashetra, Bangalore.

The award, instituted by Aryabhata Cultural organisation, is given annually to those with exemplary accomplishments to their credit in the fields of science, education, literature, arts, service and sport.



Satish Venkatraman, Manjunath Sagar, Elias Sanctis, Kamalaksha Prabhu


K P Manjunath Sagar, Elias Sanctis of Kuwait and Kamalaskha Prabhu of Manipal are the other people who have bagged this prestigious Aryabhata International Award for the year 2010 for the excellent contribution and services in other fields.
 
Satish’s Chilly Willy Food industries FZE, located in Hamriyah Free Zone in UAE, are manufacturers of high quality food products. The Managing Director Satish Venkatraman, a Mangalorean married to Mamta and blessed with three daughters Sanya, Tanya and Manya who are studying in Indian High School, Dubai.

    I am not sure as to how the awardees are picked. I happen to be the senior most cricket statistician in the country. I was awarded Dasara Kreeda Prashasti in 1989 and Rajyotsava Award in 2010.
    I think the team which has slected
    the awardess has overlooked sports
    particularly Cricket
