Hunsur, Jul 10: In a bizarre incident that is reported from Neralakuppe village of Hanagodu Hobali of the taluk a lone tusker is attacking a certain house repeatedly. The house inmates do not know the motive for the anger of the tusker on their house.

In the past two years, the lone tusker has attacked the house of Timma Sheety thrice and caused lots of damage and destruction of property. The tusker lives in nearby Nagarahole national park.

On Friday night and Saturday morning also it attacked the house and farmland. The tusker arrived on the night of Friday itself and destructed almost all the crop in the farm land of Timma Shetty. On the morning of Saturday, it attacked the house and demolished a wall.

As the wall collapsed on the sheep and dog, due to the anger of the tusker, both the animals died. Luckily, the inmates of the house escaped from certain death.

The villagers, who saw the tusker on the morning of Saturday, were able to drive it back into the forest with the help of forest department personnel.

This tusker, in addition to attacking the house of Timma Shetty, is seen around Neralakuppe area since five years. In the earlier attack on the house of Timma Shetty it had killed a cow and injured the other one. In addition, it had damaged many cars and bikes.

Forest Department should "transfer" this bulley to another forest, far away, so he doesn't get "visions" of his past life. Like the government does with its senior police and administrative officers like the DC.
