Bengaluru, Jul 10: Karnataka on Sunday July 10, reported 942 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stands at 6,898. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally at 831.
No deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Sunday.The death toll in the state has risen to 40,081.
The state recorded 737 discharges from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total discharges to 39,32,000.
So far, Karnataka has seen 39,79,021 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 4.2%, as many as 11,27,98,679 people have received vaccination so far.
