Yeddyurappa Seeks to Assert in Bangalore, Dissidents in Delhi

Bangalore, Mar 24, (PTI):  Faced with simmering discontent against his leadership, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today convened a meeting with Ministers seeking to assert himself even as a team of dissidents left for New Delhi gunning for him.

Twentyone of the total 27 Ministers attended the "conclave" held at Chief Minister's home-office "Krishna" as Yeddyurappa appeared to send a strong message and demonstrate his "strength".

The meeting was called to discuss the programmes announced in the state budget and issues related to it but its timing didn't go unnoticed as the Chief Minister's camp and the dissidents seem to be engaged in brinkmanship.

A team of dissidents, led by BJP state president K S Eshwarappa, left for Delhi today to "complain" to the party's central leadership against Yeddyurappa. He was accompanied by former Minister Aravind Limbavali and state party spokesman C T Ravi.

According to BJP sources, party national General Secretary H N Ananth Kumar has identified with the dissident camp. Another Chief Minister detractor and Rural Development and Panchayatraj Minister Jagadish Shettar is already in Delhi.

A section of Ministers and MLAs has complained in private about insufficient development activities in their constituencies and the Chief Minister's "dictatorial attitude". Eshwarappa nurses the grouse that Yeddyurappa takes "unilateral decisions" without taking party into confidence.

Conspicuous by their absence at the meeting are Tourism and Infrastructure Development Minister G Janardhana Reddy and Health and Family Welfare Minister B Sreeramulu, who have also thrown in their lot with the dissidents.

"There are some problems in the state. Ministers and MLAs have communicated their problems to me. I am going to Delhi to convey their grievances to the high command on these issues", Eshwarappa told reporters before his departure at the airport.

"The party is important than any individual. We will brief the high command on the problems faced by legislators", Ravi said.

Karnataka's Representative in New Delhi,V Dhananjaya Kumar, disapproved Eshwrappa-led delegation's visit to Delhi, saying there was no need for it and they should have discussed with the Chief Minister whatever grievances they have.

VERY SOON, HE WILL OVERCOME THIS IRRITATION, AS YEDDY IS A FIGHTER, EVEN THOUGH HE MAY HAVE A FEW SLEEPLESS NIGHTS FOR NOW.

One question to the CM of Karnataka State and BJP leaders: Does Mr. Yeddi is having time to look his daily work? He is having important and responsible position but he so corrupted always busy with media, court, and busy in protecting himself and blaming others. Mr. Yeddi you are really very CHEAP Minister of Karnataka State.

A chief minister who cant manage his own team and cant put his house in order, how come he manages the affairs of KARNATAKA? He has no right to criticise center or any other party. He knows to cry in public and now he will travel outside karnataka to plead mercy by visiting temples and announcing grants. His strength is Madame Shobakka. If Yeddy goes, then I am sure Shoba too goes... What a pity and what a sorry state of affairs in Karnataka. Ananth Kumar, since day one is against Yeddy and Shettar is another power hungry monster... Eishwarappa looks like a clown in the BJP circus. All good for nothing. This time Nagesh Nayak will surely get a platform to launch himself in BJP..... Wake up Nayak. Now the chance is in your door step. Dont let it go...

These BJP MLA love to travel with the tax payers money. Overall BJP doesnot know to rule and everytime they complain their problem to their hign command who does not know to manage his team. Seems like BJP in karnataka have similiar concept of kindergarder with their teachers in Delhi.
Hello BJP, learn something from Dr. ManMohan Singh..

I THINK DHANANJAYA KUMAR ALSO GOT A BOOTY FROM YEDDY TO TALK ON BEHALF OF HIM SUPPORTING HIM. ISHWARAPPA IS THE MAIN TROUBLE MAKER WHO IS PLANNING TO BE THE CM AND TRYING TO DISTABLISE THE YEDDY GOVERNMENT. EVEN ANANTHKUMAR WANTS TO BE CM AND HE IS ALSO TRYING TO PULL DOWN YEDDY FROM THE CHAIR. EVEN SHETTAR ALSO IS EYEING FOR THE CM CHAIR. ALL THESE 3 IDIOTS OF BJP MLA'S, SHETTAR, ANANTHKUMAR AND ESHWARAPPA WENT TO DELHI TO COMPALAIN ABOUT YEDDY'S SCAMS AND TO CHANGE THE CM. CONGRATS TO ALL THE 3 IDIOTS WHO WANT TO PULL DOWN YEDDY FROM THE CM CHAIR. ALL THE BEST TO ALL THE 3. BJP GOVERNMENT WILL FALL ANY TIME, ANY DAY ON ITS OWN AND BJP THEMSELVES WILL BRING DOWN YEDDY'S GOVERNEMENT. ITS ONLY MATTER OF TIME.

Ish-Anath duo thinks NOW or NEVER in the issue of change of the gaurd in Karnataka BJP.But writing on the wall shows otherwise!CT Ravi,A.Libavali are aspirant of ministership and sacked minister respectively.Yeddy's camp scored some marks after today's Ministreal meeting as 21 ministers attended which were considered as show of stregnth.Yeddy a fighter by birth easily will not relinquish CM post for anybody under given situation.Till today Yeddy remains to be 'Numero Uno' in Karanataka BJP if not in the national level. He knows the weakness of the Party in Karanataka 'TINA' factor(There Is No Alternative)so that he is sailing freely with some bad weather here and there.

This could be last the dissident activities against Yeddy and as hoped, if fails to take off as desired by Ish-Ananth Camp then Yeddy will rule Karanataka full five years provided Court of Law not disturbs him over the issue of Land de notification case. However Yeddy does not cares CT/ISH/A.L/J.R.....s complaint against him in H.Command as BJP Central Leadership supports him due to inevitable circumstances.
