Mangaluru: India's 2nd monkey pox case passes via MIA– 35 people including staff anxious

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Jul 18: The Dakshina Kannada district administration has sounded an alert as a youth who went to Kerala via Mangaluru airport has been found to be infected with the monkeypox disease.

The 31-year-old youth had arrived at Mangaluru from Dubai on July 13. He had undergone medical tests at Periyaram Medical college, Kannur on suspicion. The doctors who examined him have detected that he was infected with monkeypox. His companion in Dubai had got himself admitted for treatment as the disease was confirmed in him.

The blood samples of the youth have been sent by the doctors to Pune Virology centre where the youth was found to be positive for the disease. It is the second case of monkeypox detected in Kerala. The first case was registered at Thiruvananthapuram.

Meanwhile 35 people who were in direct contact with him have been advised to remain isolated. The doctors have suggested the airport officials and the passengers who had travelled with him to remain isolated and be under observation.

There were 191 passengers in the flight in which the youth had arrived. Out of them 15 passengers are from Dakshina Kannada, six from Udupi district, 13 from Kasargod, one from Kannur and the immigration department officer in the Mangaluru airport have been directed by the Dakshina Kannada district health department to remain in isolation.

Meanwhile, a separate isolation ward for the treatment of suspected monkey pox infected patients was opened at the Wenlock hospital about a month ago. Passengers arriving from foreign countries are being observed. Strict observation is arranged in the airport for them, said district Covid nodal officer Dr Ashok.

@ Rudolf. I had written to WHO soon after Surat plague 1994 ( as there were no inguinal lymph node enlargement which is typical in flea transmitted regular plague, instead lung symptoms appeared first indicating air borne infection) that manufacturing of small pox vaccine should be started again as the virus could be used for bioterrorism. I was told that as smallpox is totally irradicated there was no need of vaccine, but during the Iraq war Sr. Bush who was president of US got the vaccine manufactured and also took it...this shows that the virus was still available in labs across the globe.

Yes all the superpowers have supposedly preserved specimens of the virus, which if it goes in wrong hands can be very dangerous; but since monkeypox mortality is very less, it would not be advisable to restart manufacture of smallpox vaccines again, IMHO!

I meant manufacturing of small pox vaccine for prevention of smallpox (not monkey pox), this is in case smallpox virus is used for bioterrorism, ( monkey pox could only be a trial, so I said " prelims"...

Monkeypox is transmitted to humans through close contact with an infected person or animal, or with material contaminated with the virus. Monkeypox virus is transmitted from one person to another by close contact with lesions, body fluids, respiratory droplets and contaminated materials such as bedding. Monkeypox is a viral zoonotic disease that occurs primarily in tropical rainforest areas of central and west Africa and is occasionally exported to other regions.

@ Cynthia, no vaccines ever were able to give fool proof protection or prevent epidemics in reality. All vaccines were introduced when the infections were declining without any of their interventions but claimed success as their own. Small pox is renamed as monkey pox, otherwise they will have to agree vaccines didn't eradicate it. Most of the time its shingles (95% of monkey pox cases in Canada are shingles after the tests) . Observe peculiar photos in media- all are from Africa and they had been there as Small pox and shingles too. No medicines are there at present , if they kill viruses then they are toxic for our healthy cells too. But no need to worry as our natural immunity has withstood all of them from the beginning. Recent research again has stated natural immunity has been far superior to vaccine induced as now more vaccinated are getting covid while those who had it are immune to all variants.

Herpes zoster, also known as shingles, is caused by the reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus (VZV), the same virus that causes varicella (chickenpox). Primary infection with VZV causes varicella. Once the illness resolves, the virus remains latent in the dorsal root ganglia. VZV can reactive later in a person’s life and cause a painful, maculopapular rash called herpes zoster. If one gets herpes zoster, treatment with certain antiretrovirals within 48 hours greatly reduces the severity of infection!! But one should be able to catch it when one gets the prodromal symptoms!!

Monkey pox due to covid shots complications? No need of monkey pox vaccine? All Globalist elite and communist chinese scare tactics to push more high tech mRNA vaccines ? Following recent Divine warning to John leary says so(message mainly to american also for rest of the believers and rest of the world)... Tuesday, June 21, 2022: (St. Aloysius Gonzaga)... Jesus said: “My people, Satan is indeed the serpent in your vision and he is biting the people with the venom of the Covid shots. I have warned you not to take any of these shots because they will destroy your immune system. You are also seeing Satan’s forked tongue that is spewing lies that are telling the people they need to take the Covid shots to prevent getting the Covid sickness. This is the big lie because the shots do not prevent you from getting the Covid sickness, and they spread the mRNA spike protein disease throughout your body. The evil people behind making this virus and behind making the shots, have a goal to reduce the population. Satan inspires these evil ones to kill people and the lie about actual cures for this virus and its variants. It is diabolical that your government health leaders are forcing your employers to have their employees take the Covid shots, or they would lose their jobs. This is a violation of your Constitutional rights. A good number of people quit their jobs and refused to take the poisonous Covid shots. Many people, who took the shots, are getting sick with complications from the shots. So refuse to take any Covid shots, or shots for monkey pox, because these lies are scare tactics to control you. You can use the Good Friday oil or the exorcism water to heal the vaccinated people in faith. Be prepared to come to My refuges when the evil ones will threaten your lives.”

Monkeypox is caused by monkeypox virus, a member of the Orthopoxvirus genus in the family Poxviridae. Monkeypox is usually a self-limited disease with the symptoms lasting from 2 to 4 weeks. Severe cases can occur. In recent times, the case fatality ratio has been around 3–6%.! It's sudden resurgence around the world points to the Covid vaccines, which may have activated the latent virus! There is no need to panic unless the virus attacks the optic nerve!!

What is the treatment for people with monkeypox? People with monkeypox should follow the advice of their health care provider. Symptoms normally resolve on their own without the need for treatment. If needed, medication for pain (analgesics) and fever (antipyretics) can be used to relieve some symptoms. It is important for anyone with monkeypox to stay hydrated, eat well, and get enough sleep. People who are self-isolating should take care of their mental health by doing things they find relaxing and enjoyable, staying connected to loved ones using technology, exercising if they feel well enough and can do so while isolating, and asking for support with their mental health if they need it. People with monkeypox should avoid scratching their skin and take care of their rash by cleaning their hands before and after touching lesions and keeping skin dry and uncovered (unless they are unavoidably in a room with someone else, in which case they should cover it with clothing or a bandage until they are able to isolate again). The rash can be kept clean with sterilized water or antiseptic. Saltwater rinses can be used for lesions in the mouth, and warm baths with baking soda and Epsom salts can help with lesions on the body. Lidocaine can be applied to oral and perianal lesions to relieve pain. Many years of research on therapeutics for smallpox have led to the development of products that may also be useful for treating monkeypox. An antiviral that was developed to treat smallpox (tecovirimat) was approved in January 2022 by the European Medicines Agency for the treatment of monkeypox. Experience with these therapeutics in the context of an outbreak of monkeypox is limited. For this reason, their use is usually accompanied by a collection of information that will improve knowledge on how best to use them in the future.

There are no treatments specifically for monkeypox virus infections. However, monkeypox and smallpox viruses are genetically similar, which means that antiviral drugs and vaccines developed to protect against smallpox may be used to prevent and treat monkeypox virus infections

BCG is against TB (not smallpox) , if you are vaccinated against smallpox ( most of the elder people are) very likely you will not get monkey pox due to cross immunity. They should not have discontinued small pox vaccine( as the virus of small pox is deadly and many labs across the world still have it, and this can be used for bioterrorism). Monkey pox could be "prelims" testing , before the finals.

Sir, i thought BCG is given for small pox/tb....Some 2/3 diseases. Once they inject, after few weeks puss forms. That means small pox vaccines are not given to the newly born infants ? Why these labs preserve such viruses ? Thank you so much sir. God bless you always 💓

Monkeypox symptoms are similar to smallpox symptoms but milder, and monkeypox is rarely fatal. Monkeypox is not related to chickenpox. What happens if you get monkeypox? Monkeypox symptoms include swollen lymph nodes, fever, and a rash that may initially be mistaken for chickenpox or a sexually transmitted disease if in the genital or anal region. The infection can be fatal, but it most often clears up on its own. Monkeypox may be most severe in young children. What is the cure for monkeypox? There is no specific treatment approved for monkeypox virus infections, according to the CDC. But antivirals that were developed for use in patients with smallpox may work. “We have two antiviral drugs. One is known as brincidofovir. Does monkeypox go away? In most cases, the symptoms of monkeypox go away on their own within a few weeks. However, in some people, an infection can lead to medical complications and even death. Newborn babies, children, and people with underlying immune deficiencies may be at risk of more serious symptoms and death from monkeypox. Is there a vaccine against monkeypox? Yes. A vaccine was recently approved for preventing monkeypox. Some countries are recommending vaccination for persons at risk. Many years of research have led to the development of newer and safer vaccines for an eradicated disease called smallpox, which may also be useful for monkeypox. One of these has been approved for the prevention of monkeypox. Only people who are at risk (for example someone who has been in close contact with someone who has monkeypox) should be considered for vaccination. Mass vaccination is not recommended at this time.

Dear Shri Alwyn, very beautiful explanation indeed....! Thank you and also Shri Dev for informing well in advance.....Health department gives the details of no. Of infections/state/its plans of isolation wards/testing etc. People get frightened by looking at those photos and the way they elaborate it in a scary way. Instead govt and its officials, start educating the people about those "man made" diseases/symptoms/precautions...and should make the people confident to fight againt the same. We all have taken BCG for small pox. Will it be helpful in this disease? Chicken pox also almost everyone gets....once or twice.....Those viruses wont protect us from this one ? Please keep the people updated by writing such awareness comments and make us knowledgeable...

Monkey pox isn't contagious like respiratory tract infections. It is nothing but Shingles onset stimulated by injection of covid jabs. It is a new scare crow created to cover up the cause and to market more vaccines. A major point to be noted here is only covid vaxed people get it and others are never at risk. Mortality rate or hospitalization is close to zero like in all other diseases. Wake up and stop another scamdemic or plandemic.

Why did a passenger going to Kannur choose to fly to Mangalore and then go to Kannur by train or car? It looks like he already knew he was infected and wanted to cheat the health authorities, thinking he would escape detection here. As a consequence he has put at risk so many lives. Add to that, he knew that his companion in Dubai was already infected.
