Kundapur, July 22: Locals have stopped a man and a young woman belonging to different religions who had come together to Parichaya hotel, Uppunda, near Byndoor here.

Amir Ali (45) who is into junk business at Thokkottu, Ullal had come in an Ertiga car with a 28-year-old girl belonging to the Hindu religion and had checked into the hotel at Uppunda on Thursday afternoon and they were staying in the lodge.

Pro Hindu activists who came to know about it barged into the hotel and created a ruckus. The couple, who saw it, came out of the room and was preparing to get into the car.

Meanwhile, the group that was waiting outside confronted both of them. The police, who were alerted, arrived at the spot and escorted the couple to the police station. The girl reportedly told the police during investigations that she is employed in Amir Ali’s shop.

Police personnel have informed the family of the girl who arrived at the police station and concluded the incident in a compromise.

Those pro-Hindu activists visit red light areas, or they will have affair with other people's wives then no problem. The moral double standards in society have become appalling. Hindu boys roam and spoil the lives of many other girls before they marry the girl from their caste and community. Nobody hits the boy then nor is action taken against him by police. Then why here?

Nobody has got the right to interfere in someone's personal affairs when they are majors and force is not used! On the contrary, these jobless moral police should be taken to task and cases filed against them for trespassing into someone's personal freedom! These shameless thugs are acting like "Muttawas" who are the recognised religious police force in Saudi Arabia!! Why can't the moral police provide lucrative employment and find a life partner from their community to the lady?

Both are adults and what they do should not be anybody's business however when Hindu buys go with girls of other faith we know what happens. You can call them thugs but they don't physically harm anyone. You may remember in Hyderabad a Hindu man was slaughtered for marrying a Muslim girl. Let there be no double standards.

Why this moral in policing activities happen only in DK? In Mumbai nobody cares if two consenting adults indulge in a relationship? BTW; in this case maybe the female might be definitely getting some favors in return for the affair! Also, she is not a young innocent girl, but a mature lady who understands fully well what she is doing!

No one has the right to question or take any action on something that is absolutely legal and no compulsion involved. Whoever does so, should be punished - no matter who they are.

Nowadays everyone is becoming Police, and Police let it .Even though they checked in hotel ,we dont know same room or different ,is not our concern.I think in every hotel there is someone who gives the "News"when couple checks in ,and wireless is active.Otherwise I cant explain how come all these news spread within no time.It is like in Communist time,Why dont Police let them do instead of give warning ?Stupids .When one wants to slip off from own community will go without problem .Noone can let them catch with force.Let people live own life without fear.
