Kundapur: 33-year-old private school teacher ends life

Kundapur, Jul 23: Teacher of a private school killed himself by hanging in the kitchen of his house at Ankadakatte near here on Saturday July 23.

The deceased is identified as Ananda Gowda (33), a resident of Nelyadi.

Ananda, who was a maths teacher, had got married just two months ago. He used to live in a rented house at Ankadakatte. He had bought a new car recently.

On Saturday morning, when his wife came to the kitchen for the morning chores, she was shocked to find Ananda hanging from the roof.

The exact reason for the extreme step of the teacher is not known. A case is filed in Kundapur police station.

    May his soul rest in peace. As per statistics, 66% of white colour employees are getting a salary below Rs 15000 in India. The average salary of a teacher in private school in Karnataka, except Bangalore, is Rs 16000. This man has recently married, who know whether he had taken loan for marriage expenses. A person who gets a salary of 16,000 can get a car loan of 1,60,000 only and from where he arranged other amount to purchase a new car ? Everyone knows how difficult it is to maintain a car with the price of petrol, insurance and taxes. He had to pay rent for the house. It looks to be a case of biting off something more than one can chew. May be he had different problems. A person who commits suicide thinks, he is stopping the pain, but what he does is, passing on the pain to the persons he leaves behind.

    So absurd and sad too .Atleast for the parents and newly married wife.He shouldnt have married first and now suicide.Not only his but making others life too miserable.Young man ,he could atleast move to new place ,when car loan was too much give back.PRoblems ?Take some advice from elder people.Everyone has problems.Doesnt mean everybody must hang themselves.Every problem has answers and can solve.Only has to take step forwards.Heartfelt sympathies to his family.Hope this will be cleared soon.May his soulrest in peace.

    I think the no of people killing themselves due to financial issue, job loss, inflation is more than the no of people being killed by terrorism. But still it is commendable of a party to be a able to fool highly educated people to vote for them. Wonder wat cud be the reason? Hatred?!!!

    @ real kujuma, kodial. You always make a hill out of a mole. Ask the bhakts and they will say people committing suicide because there is too much happiness in life and people can't digest it. There is this BJP MP, Ravi Kishan who wants to bring population control bill. He himself has 4 children ;) Ironic right? Bhakts say inflation is in the mind. Sher pala hai toh inflation sehna padega na bhai. Sher Central Vista mein rahega and tax dene wala public paataal mein. Yaar..Amrut Kaal mein kuch logon ko zeher peena padta hai. Collateral damage samajhlo. India mein population bahot hai. Government ko ghanta faraq nahi padta. EVM bhi hai. Jis din vote karnewale kamm ho jayenge..uss din government murde ko bhi paatal se utha layegi vote ki khatir. Abb sabb milke bolo 'Sab changa si'. RIP for the school teacher.
