On average, around 2000 buses run between Blr & Mlr daily. The pvt operators makes crores daily!! No wonder these badly needed trains are only till end of August. Over the last decade, whichever party the coastal MPs may belong to, the forever thriving, pvt bus operators lobby is supreme. One of them has a palatial house in Blr, gets raided by ED and yet now claims he is in the next Congress CM race too!!

Train frequency can be increased surely based on passenger demand Ignoring air and bus lobbyists.... Speed can be increased possibly routing more through Hassan .. Mangalore.Subramanya ..saklespur..Hassan ..Bangalore .. Except ghats all are more or less flat terrain .. Can easily make average speeds of 70 to 80 kms per hour ... except ghats .. So reach within let’s say maximum 7- 8 hours Bangalore mangalore.. More comfort ..direct to city centres ..

Thirty days operations during non-school holiday season is a very good period to study and assess the viability and profitability of running this train from Mlore to Blore via Mysore . As observed and noted over several years all trains go fully jampacked in this sector . I see no reason why Indian Railways would want to discontinue/ withdraw a line which earns them revenue while keeping the people happy and providing valuable service too . 😊 Please do not discontinue this line if no losses were made in these 30 days.

point to be noted is that it is given only till aug 31..so the bus lobby will continue to pound the passengers to bengaluru with hefty ticket fares and a good cut will go to bjpigs party fund and khaki....
