Sathya Sai Baba's Condition Stable, Say Doctors

Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh), April 3 (IANS) Spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba's condition is stable, doctors at the Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences said Sunday. However, the 85-year-old guru to millions continued to be on respiratory support due to a breathing problem.

In a medical bulletin issued Sunday morning, the director of the super speciality hospital A.N. Safaya said all vital systems of Sai Baba were functioning normally.

Even though he was on respiratory support, he was showing signs of improvement and hence there was no cause for anxiety, Safaya added.

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Major Industries J. Geeta Reddy visited the hospital to enquire about the godman's condition.

After a meeting with officials of Sathya Sai Central Trust, police officers and doctors, Geeta Reddy said Sai Baba's condition was stable.

The minister, herself a devotee of Baba, has been deputed by the state government after the some reports of his deteriorated condition worried his devotees in India and abroad.

The trust officials and doctors have not allowed the minister or any other state government official into Sai Baba's room in the intensive care unit.

Meanwhile, the state government has also sent a team of doctors from Hyderabad to monitor his condition.

A large number of policemen have been deployed at the hospital as devotees continued to pour in to know about Sai Baba's health. A section of devotees had Saturday tried to barge into the hospital.

The godman was admitted to the hospital March 28 in the pilgrim town of Puttaparthi in Anantapur district due to pneumonia and breathing problem.

Doctors have implanted a permanent pacemaker to regulate his heartbeat.

Sai Baba, whose real name is Sathyanarayana Raju, had claimed in 1940 that he was an 'avatar' of god.

He became famous with his miracles but for last two decades he had been focusing on social and charitable work.

    Om Sri Sai Ram!
Pranam to the Lotus Feet of our beloved bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Our Swamy is "Shiva Shakthi Avathar". He is perfoming his leela as scripted and defined by him. He is the Generator, Organiser and Destroyer (GOD). He is Omnipresent and immortal. An Human cannot give life to Avathar. All are happening to prove something special to this world. Hope swamy bears the sufferings of all his true devotees and Sevadhals those who are surrendered with him. He will get cure soon as Mr.Natarajan-USA has mentioned in his comments.

We pray swamy himself to come back soon to give his divine dharshan and disclosures. Swamy is always with us, he knows the feeling of all his true devotees and welwishers. Wait and Watch. As Shirdi baba says Shrudha and Sabhuri is most important in our life. Let us be with Patience and faithfull.

    Jai Sai Ram.

Let us all pray that our Sai Baba comes back to normalcy. He has His own will and He decides what he wants to do, as He had done earlier, too, when he seemed to have been struck by paralysis. After two days of 'suffering' as it were, he came back to normalcy in a trice. That is what that is going to happen now, too. Hail the Holy Name of Sai Baba!

    Sai Ram

Our beloved Baba is not a Physical Body He is Shiva Avtar, controlling the universe so nothing could happen to him We should worship Swami not just by recognising Him as a Body. These all are the Swami`s Leela. He has to do this because he has taken avtar in human form so all these are human body tendency. He is omnipresent. He can give life to dead person. He is Sampuran.

Swami is with us always. What we have to do is just follow his teaching, baba always said his devotees that you do my work (means seva) I Will do your work (our wordily obligation). So we have to do according to his teaching only. Any thing what is happening is accept it as baba`s wish.

    Sai Ram
