Bypolls over : BJP Dissidents Back in Act

Bangalore, Apr 10 (DC): 'CM’s organic mission a sham'The ghost of dissidence, that had faded just before the bypolls, is likely to raise its head again and this time it will be murkier than the previous attempts. Having failed to dislodge Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on their own, the dissidents now seem to have joined hands with Janata Dal (Secular) state president H.D. Kumaraswamy who is likely to play a major role this time.

Sources said that Kumaraswamy is likely to prop up one of the advocates or a JD-S party worker to move a division bench of the high court seeking to vacate the interim stay given by the single judge bench. In the April 1 order, the high court had stayed the Lokayukta special court order directing the Lokayukta police to enquire and report to the court. Kumaraswamy is also considering approaching Supreme Court on this issue.

Based on information passed on to Kumaraswamy by the dissident camp, he will release fresh documents related to the donation scam. The trusts (not Prerana Trust) floated by the family members of Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa received funds of over Rs.180 crore from industrialists and businessmen, it is alleged.

The strategy of the dissidents is: After the revelations of new scams, the BJP high command may have to seriously think of replacing Yeddyurappa out of ignominy. And, if the court vacates the stay in the meantime, the development would pave way for Lokayukta enquiry, which the dissidents feel will help them step up pressure on the BJP top brass to remove Mr Yeddyurappa, sources said.

Sources in the BJP said that Reddy had already sounded the party central leaders about his move. “If the party fails to replace the chief minister, I have to make alternative arrangements,” Mr Reddy reportedly told a few central leaders. His meeting with Mr Kumaraswamy is part of his effort to work out an alternative strategy for his group.

Reddy was upset with party central leaders on two counts: One, they had not changed Mr Yeddyurappa. Two, they stopped backing the Reddy Brothers. He told his supporters that even the BJP seemed to have turned opportunistic. “After using me, now they (central leaders) have stopped backing me. I am really fed up with their attitude,” he told his supporters.

Meanwhile, the group led by Ananth Kumar, is likely to launch their activity rather quietly from Sunday. “The process may take a month’s time,” sources said.

We should have next protest for rooting out this politics from India. We can have President Rule. God only knows how much money has been wasted on this dirty politics. These by-polls are all about money. Yesterday on TV women were fighting for money which BJP did not give them but Congress paid them promptly. Real shame it is. If we do not have election and corruption I'm sure we will be No. 1 in the world.

Bye Elections are over and the UNITY of BJP is over. Only during Election times in BJP UNITY is there. Everyone holds hands in Rallies and say we are UNITED. This is only to fool PUBLIC and to get VOTES. Once Elections are over then BJP MLA's show their true colours. Now Ananthkumar has come again in the picture. So far he was talking YEDDY is our LEADER till the elections were over. Now BJP Dissidents are back in their ACT. This is how the BJP party is running.

Somwthing makes me feel that this Yeddi  will be pulled down for good. Otherwise it will be the the first Nail in BJP's Karnataka coffin & things will just get from bad to worst. All it takes for them is replacing this one IDIOT CM and set their house in order before next elections.
