Kundapur: MLA Sukumar Shetty adopts sister of deceased girl Sannidhi

Kundapur, Aug 10: MLA Sukumar Shetty has adopted the three-year-old sister of the deceased Sannidhi and announced that he will look after her education.

“Mini bridges will be constructed wherever necessary in Byndoor. The government will provide all the basic facilities in this area,” said Udupi district in-charge minister S Angara.

 

He was speaking to news reporters after visiting the residence of seven-year- old Sannidhi who died after falling into the rivulet from a foot bridge and consoling her family members.

MLA Sukumar Shetty said that there are more 200 foot bridges in Byndoor. 150 foot bridges were constructed recently. "If the officials had done their work on time using the funds, this incident would not have happened," he said.

"I will try sincerely to provide the maximum compensation to the family of the deceased child," he said.

    This is the usual nautankis of all these politicians and ministers to shed crocodile tears and show sympathy just to seal future votes after disasters strike the poor people. Crores of public money go in the drains every year but to provide the basic infrastructure in villages one has to wait for disasters. One innocent life is lost due to the apathy of the administration...??????

    Town Planning and Planners are a necessity but in India the concept is non existent and everything is looked after two corrupt good for nothing departments being the Municipality and the Ministry of Public Works or PWD. The people appointed in these two important departments for the amenities and infrastructure in a village or town however rural or city based, will have only one excuse No Funds for Infrastructure or the MP should request and pass it. But they all get paid cream salaries and benefits for which funds are not required to be sourced from the Central government or the MP. Nothing will change and all these people you see like MLA Sukumar Shetty are just a farce trying to fool the poor and need of Karnataka.. They and the media appear to showcase mercy from No where. It happens everywhere in India and more so in rural areas where amenities and infrastructure is negligent or non existent. But people pay GST equally as those people sitting in cities or with the PM or the BJP.

    Hallo Sir ,now you are awake ?Only when the girl has fallen and lost her life?Now even adapting and confirm about her sisters education ,will not bring her back .But something has good in it.YOu blame the workers for not doing work timely?Did anyone of you control it with money and work?It was your duty to do so that public money is not gone in flood .(Pockets).Now let the work done fast so that not another child falls into the river.Dont forget ,a hand support to hold suppose one slipsaway to install.
