Sisodia No. 1 accused in liquor scam, Kejriwal chief of corruption: Anurag Thakur

New Delhi, Aug 20 (IANS): Targeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the alleged irregularities in AAP government's excise policy, Union minister Anurag Thakur said on Saturday that Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is the No. 1 accused in the case, while Arvind Kejriwal is the chief of corruption.

Thakur also gave Manish Sisodia a new name - 'Money Shh...' - saying that he makes money and maintains silence.

Addressing the media at the party headquarters a day after the CBI raided the residence and office of Sisodia in connection with the case, Thakur said that the entire country and the world can now see the corruption of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

He said Kejriwal is No. 1 in making new records of corruption and after the liquor scam, Sisodia is now even unable to answer the queries of journalists.

Terming the AAP government as 'Revadi Sarkar' and 'Bevdi Sarkar', Thakur said Kejriwal and Sisodia should tell whether blacklisted companies were given contract to sell liquor.

"Manufacturing companies are not allowed to get contract for retail, so why did they give this permission? Why have they gone soft towards the liquor traders," Thakur asked.

Questioning Sisodia's relationship with the other accused in the case, Thakur asked why did the AAP government increase the commission of liquor contracts from 2 per cent to 12 per cent.

Accusing the AAP leaders of running away from questions instead of giving proper answers, the Union minister said that just like the AAP leaders are running away from the truth, they will now also run away from the public as well.

    BJP is trying their best to stop AAP spreading all over India. I think it is too late as they have proved what is meant as Good Governance. BJP can never stop AAP spreading all over India. Modi will not be P.M after 2029 for sure. His seat will be shaken in 2023/2024 itself.

    Anata, There is no truth to this. Let the people consuming liquor pay more, But look at what they have revolutionized in the administration. Unlike Modi who runs away from interviews but Dazzles in front of Cameras he has done precious little and has nothing to show at the end of 8 years. Completely clueless as far as the Economy is concerned, just like Bommai who is a mere puppet

    We believed PM Modiji in 2014, but everything went ULTA what he promised. But Kejriwal has done a great revolution in India. Well educated person. But all educated and literate voters must vote AAP . And those uneducated and illiterate , all fake degree holder who support corruption must vote to other partys.

    Anurag Thakur accuses the AAP of running away from questions. Boss, I have seen and heard so many journalists interview Arvind Kejriwal. But not once has your Boss, the wishwa guru Sri Modi given an interview to any journalist in the last eight years. Yes, once he did that and you know to whom, the ever dependable Sri Arnab Goswami. It was very evident to everyone that Modi knew what the questions would be. It was stage managed.

    No Problem. Your fright, insecurity and nervousness is obvious with AAP. Do whatever you want to do to AAP but still we will vote for AAP, Sisodia and Kejriwal because we know these are biased fabricated charges. The more you circulate fake stories about them the more they will be victorious. We have 200% confidence in them. You can not stop AAP Tsunami wave if you do you will be crushed to pulp.
