Man from Kadaba slips, falls while boarding train in Bengaluru, dies

Kadaba, Aug 27: A man of Kadaba origin fell and died while boarding a train in Bengaluru on August 24.

The deceased is identified as Yathindra Gowda (65), a resident of Amai Kevala of the taluk. He used to work in a hotel at Hyderabad and had been to his native place. He was returning to Hyderabad to join duty.

Yathindra lost his balance while boarding the train early in the morning at Bengaluru railway station and fell to the platform and died instantly.

Gowda used to work in various places for the past 40 years. He came to his native place after 30 years to partake in some family function as per the information given by family sources.

Yathindra is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.

    Very sad that at his age he had to fend for himself and his family... This is the compulsion of life... At that age unless accompanied by someone journeys are always risky... RIP to the departed soul...

    Pakku, Manipal....bro...there's nothing wrong in working and keep themselves fit and systematic....as long as a person has good health of mind and body. Working keeps a healthy person active and energetic and busy in his lifestyle (even to a sick_unhealthy person too) There's a saying....an Idle mind is a devil's dwelling place. You must have heard, those who are retired from foreign countries (as well as in hometown) keep themselves busy by developing their land....cultivating vegetables etc. Death can occur to anyone my dear ...to a small kid to an elderly person...healthy or sick....sudden or unexpected from which no one can escape....Many people do not like to work or do not have jobs..He is lucky, he didnt depend on anyone or bed ridden..

    one should be careful while boarding trains in third world countries where population is more and there is absolutely no civic sense...the programme in kannada 'KURIGALU SAAR NAAVU KURIGALU' type....all will rush like mad dogs..
