Digvijay Expresses Happiness Over Bail to Binayak Sen

Bhopal, Apr 16 (PTI) Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh today hailed the Supreme Court's decision to grant bail to human rights activist Binayak Sen, sentenced to life imprisonment by a Chhattisgarh trial court for sedition and helping Naxals to set up a network to fight the State.

"I am really happy that Sen, whom I know personally, has been granted bail by the Supreme Court," the Congress General Secretary told PTI here.

While granting relief to the 61-year-old doctor- activist yesterday, the apex court had noted that no case of sedition was made out against him.
